Texture (Cee’s black and white challenge). Yashica legacy lens on Olympus Pen digital
Yashica 55mm (110mm equivalent on 4/3), f/2.8 macro legacy lens on Olympus E-PL3 with VF-4 viewfinder. Focus set at 0.255m, f/22, ISO 200, about 1.5sec. Contra jour natural sunlight. Colour image desaturated and curves adjusted in Photoshop. PS. On my Macbook screen, the image in the post is about 16cm wide and the magnification is about 8x.
(I hope I’ll be able to get back to film soon. Optical – much better – viewfinders!).
I do have a Olympus PEN LITE E-PL3 and I just found in the garbage a YASHICA 230-AF with two lenses Kyocera AF 70-210 mm and AF 35-70 mm Macro.
I HAVE SOME QUESTIONS
There is any adapter or converter in order to use those lenses on my Olympus?
Is possible to re-chip the Kyocera AF 70-210 in order to transfer the images to digital.
Marvelous entry for this week’s texture theme. Thanks.
Many thanks Cee. Fun to do; I was amazed at the really shallow depth of field even at f/22.
