May was a little late this year

We usually see the hawthorn in blossom in late April or May. So the popular name for the blossom is May. This year we didn’t see it until June.

Olympus OM4. Tamron 28-70mm macro, f/3.5-4.5. Fuji Superia 200. 8 June 2013. I’m not a fan of zoom lenses; this one is better as a macro than in ‘normal’ mode, in my opinion. I should have taken the Zuiko 28mm as well as the macro zoom but was feeling lazy that morning.
