Bradford – another view 2. By Vivitar Wide & Slim
This is the view just past the final house on the western end of the village in which I live. Ten minutes walk from my home, it is in Bradford, six miles from the city centre. Is it any wonder I become very angry about what my home city has been turned into?

Just past the last house in the village proper on the footpath to Burley Woodhead. Two pictures from the Vivitar Wide & Slim, Fuji Superia 200, stitched together in Photoshop.
Bradford should, of course, be the hub for tourists coming to visit this beautiful area. Sadly, I tell them to avoid the city at all costs.
Ten minutes walk further along the footpath is a bed and breakfast in an ancient building from the village’s past. You can stop there for a cup of tea, for a bacon and egg sandwich or to buy some eggs, which we did yesterday (Sunday) when the picture(s) was taken. Maybe grumpytyke will do a post about it soon. There’s no need to go in to the city.
Reblogged this on Adithya Entertainment.
Stunning photo. Thanks for sharing. That green almost hurts! If only they had flooded the whole city centre, then more folk would probably visit and enjoy the most beautiful place in the world. Just happens to have a BD postcode 😦
I wanted the trolley buses to appear on the right but they won’t. A WordPress quirk. Nor will the Boy and Barrel but I guess that’s because it isn’t a WordPress blog. Grumpytyke can’t make this widget work at all.
I wanna roll down that hill.
You’d be joining the lambs and and end up covered in butter 😉
I guess there are worse things to be covered in.
